Atmosphir is a friendly, safe, and moderated 3D adventure game and creation tool. Designers create their own video game levels using simple visual tools, and then can share them online with the rest of the Atmosphir community. Players can choose from thousands of unique and challenging user-created levels to explore and complete. The primary focus of Atmosphir is empowering user creativity in positive ways.

The following is a brief overview of Atmosphir’s safety features and content. Please let us know if you have any additional questions, concerns, or suggestions.

lineSafety Features

Game Moderation
Minor Studios consistently moderates all original content in Atmosphir, including levels, level screenshots, usernames, and comments. Content that falls outside of our upload policy is immediately removed. Users have a simple “report” button in the game to immediately bring questionable material to the moderators’ attention.

Core Content Control
All the blocks, characters, textures, and sounds - the building materials of Atmosphir - are created and maintained by Minor Studios. Users cannot upload modified versions of these. In other words, while designers can build whatever they want, Minor Studios is always in control of the quality and content of the building blocks.

Forum Moderation
The Atmosphir Forums are moderated by Minor Studios and community members alike, ensuring all content falls under the registration agreement that all users must agree to. Users who do not follow these rules are banned by username, email address and IP address. Language filters are also in place to automatically block out words we’ve added on our constantly-updated blacklist.

Level Rating / Commenting
Players may rate a level by giving it a 1-5 star ranking, as well as a difficulty rating (ranging from “very easy” to “expert”). Players may also write public comments about a level. Designers always have the ability to delete comments by clicking the red “x” that appears next to them.

Mild cartoon/fantasy violence
Players have the option of equipping weapons that may be used to defeat enemies in their adventures. All combat is of a cartoon/fantasy nature, similar to what you might find in a Nintendo game or Disney movie. Weapons include comical items like giant lollipops, beach umbrellas and flyswatters, as well as cartoon versions of bombs and swords.

User-Generated Content
Designers may create and upload their own levels using a preset collection of virtual blocks that snap onto a grid. Sometimes some designers might create levels that go against our upload policy, in which case the level and the designer account are immediately reported, removed, and banned from the game.
